+After going through a bunch of crazy ideas for medleys over the last couple of years (20 Second Medley, mashing up up to 15 songs at once at any given point in a medley, and a 500 Song Rush that unlike the previous two examples I will likely finish someday) I decided to make a medley that goes at a more standard pace in transition speeds. It currently doesn't have a name, and right now I have no ideas for a name. It's a medley that uses songs from the east and west, highly inspired by [[NicoTube Transpacifica]]. I'm thinking of creating a page for what I have so far, though it's not much at the moment.

			I've been thinking about this project for a while (and by that I mean two months) and I think I should announce;

			I want to turn this into a collaboration project.

			Going back to the first six hours of me starting the project, I only had 11 song names and 2-3 videos.

			Then, it took several more hours to edit in half of the videos for the first eleven and edit in the names for songs 12-18. At this point I didn't even have animations.

			About 2 weeks later, I had song names to 31 and videos or pictures for about three-fourths of the songs.

			So, 14 days times (1764 songs divided by 31 songs edited in video) equals about 796 days, or 2.18 years. And that's an average including songs that aren't even fully animated or song that don't have a video clip yet, along with real life things such as school. So let's say 820 days, and that might be generous.

			That's more time than it took Tomo/Ginga-P to compose [[Galaxy]] (398 days) and longer than the time between the first and most recent medley by Shimo, [[Chuudoku no Kata e Okuru Ikkyoku]] and [[Nanairo\|Nanairo no Nico Nico Douga]] (729 days), excluding remixes of his previous medleys and [[Chou Kumikyoku]] as that one's a mash-up of [[Kumikyoku\|three of]] [[Ryuuseigun\|his previous]] [[Nanairo\|medleys.]]

			Time isn't the only thing that gave me this decision. It's memory usage.

			At 720p, the video would take up more space than I have available on my computer, at ''over 500 GB.''

			I am going to start notes for other movements after this edit. Movement 12 will have to be split up. If this does get turned into a collaboration, this project could get released way ahead of schedule.

			I sincerely hope this is understandable to everyone.

			Thanks! I now have four tools for three different functions for the project.
			Those four are:

			Debut - Screen recording software.
			VideoPad & VSDC Free Video Editor - Video creating & editing software. VP is simpler, but with slight limits, and VSDC seems trickier to use, but is more technical and can do more. I might switch between the two programs, maybe not.
			HandBrake - Compresses files. I pretty much need this because a seven second video clip is 151 MB, so this means the project won't eat my entire computer. The video file was reduced to under 1 MB.

			If anyone wants me to remove the names, just let me know.



			I already started on the project on VP, and both of the editors have very similar functions. However, I want to make sure that VSDC is used '''somewhere''' in the project-- I don't want to feel like a jerk.

			Let's Name the Medley Producers! is less of a medley, and more of a song. It's a song listing 500 medley composers who have uploaded a medley to NND, as of December 18, 2014, the upload date.
