Medleys that use this song

Lyrics

This song from the game has no designated lyrics.

Notes & Trivia

  • Like the situation with Night of Nights, it is unknown if it's called "Moon Theme," "The Moon Theme," or "The Moon."
  • This song from the game has gotten so popular in gaming history, that it actually has a series on YouTube, called "__ on the Moon." But, it really started on January 11th, 2008, where YouTuber "digamejh" posted a live performance of the Moon Theme by Californian rock band "The Advantage."
  • The performance came in second place out of over 50 contestants at the MAGFest's music competition, "Dwelling of Duels."
    • Shortly after, on January 24th, YouTuber/Newground artist "SupraDarky" uploaded a remix of The Moon Theme titled "[SD] DuckTales Fun on the Moon;" Then, three days later, YouTuber "methidos" uploaded a Mario Paint Sequencer edition of The Moon Theme.
  • The same song was also used in a well-known YouTube Poop video called "This is What I see With My Eyes Closed" uploaded on December 3rd, 2009. It subsequently inspired a Garry’s Mod fad called "this is what I see with my X closed."
  • The song from the game after these subsequent events, and fan favoritism, lead on The Moon Theme to be one of gaming's highest and historical musical opuses, from one of gamer's highest expectations during the development of DuckTales Remastered, (a remake with updated next-gen graphics, the surviving voice actors of the original animated series, and more) to covers of famous gamer musicians, like Smooth McGroove and Brentalfloss.
