I wonder how long it will be until someone reads this...

Well, anyway, I noticed in the romaji that a lot of the particles aren't following the modern Hepburn romanization rules. Are we following the Hepburn method of romanization or something else?

If you're referring to the use of "wo" instead of "o", that is something that is generally inconsistent across the wiki (e.g. "Agent Yoru o Iku" vs. "Kimi wo Nosete"). Feel free to convert this to a more regular usage. I haven't seen any problems with the other particles ("e" and "wa"), though. - Arcorann 02:13, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Yep, that's what I was referring to. I've only really looked in this article and not the others, but wo/o and he/e were the ones I noticed in here. I've corrected a few of them already. SleepyD 10:32, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Furthermore, A lot of the Touhou songs have more than one vocal arrangement, allowing people to sing a number of different songs. How exactly are we dealing with that? Example: 亡き王女の為のセプテット can be sung using a number of popular vocal arrangements such as 東方スイーツ!, No Life No Queen, or strawberry song. Personally, I've heard the first two in different sung versions of Nanairo.

Also, with the "shi- shi- shi- shinitai, shinitai" thing, there's different ways to end that line. The lyrics page already shows "kedo" and "demo," but there's also "shinitaiyo". The original video only shows "shinitai," and doesn't even have any vocals, so people had freedom to add what they wanted for those last two notes. So, following the first line, "shi- shi- shi- shinitai, shinitai," there can be one of the following (possibly more):

shi- shi- shi- shinitai, shinitaiyo
or
shi- shi- shi- shinitai, shinitai, demo
or
shi- shi- shi- shinitai, shinitai, kedo

Oh, and Hello Windows didn't originally have lyrics. Halyosy's arrangement of Hello Windows with his song Window (I'm pretty sure he called it that...) is what is featured in the lyrics section here. And, like the touhou songs, there are various arrangements of the song. I think halyosy's is the most popular one. I remember hearing an arrangement with Dango Daikazoku somehwere though...

Also, I'm confused, do you want the Japanese titles in the list, the romanized titles, or the translated titles? Cuz I see all three here....

SleepyD 02:45, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

All kanji titles should be removed. Usually I will use the romaji, unless it looks "crap" in which case I might move to the translated titles. - Arcorann 02:13, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Okey doke, I see that you've merged a few of the song title headings in the lyrics. I feel it's better when they're in columns, so people can know which lyrics go with what. (like in 21/22 and 29/30) I left it alone, but tried to clarify what I could, such as the dancing samurai one. Thoughts?
While on the issue on clarification, the lyrics people use on nico are rather inconsistent (especially with the Touhou songs), but with others as well, when they're using different verses with the same melody. Bad Apple and Eien Tewi are specific Touhou arrangements, so there's not so much a problem there as there is for Remilia's and Cirno's theme. In the lyrics, I did attempt to include as many different versions as I could, but after listening to a couple people sing it, and even read a karaoke version, I've come to the conclusion that adding all the different versions for nearly every single song would be information overload for anyone trying to read this.
My idea was to provide the different versions that could be sung in the particular song article itself, although it risks not being visible to those taking a cursory look over the lyrics. Also, then the question is, which version stays in the main article, and which goes to the song article? Thoughts appreciated here too.

The merging is to make the page consistent with the rest of the wiki. In addition, at some point translations will have to be added to the song lyrics, which will make the columns half the width they were before, which causes problems...
I have little experience dealing with multiple sets of lyrics, as Scutilla dealt with the early medleys when the wiki first started, and in the later medleys usually only one set is sung (due to being less popular). Most likely the one or two most popular versions (use your own judgment) will stay in the main article, with others relegated to the song article. However, if there is an original set it must be included.

Bad Apple!!

Bad Apple is the name of the original BGM from Lotus Land Story (see here), but the person who remixed it kept the original title. So did Shimo mean to use the BGM or the arranged version? Seritinajii 13:00, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

The original tracklist in the video says "Bad Apple!! feat. nomico", so it must be the arranged version. Arcorann 08:37, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Jihou

When does Jihou play before Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu? Also, it is credited at the end - after all of the HEROES are listed, it's listed as * after Makka na Chikai. 68.63.95.177 18:52, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Jihou plays at the end part of the piano section, before Lion starts. Evidently I miscounted the tracks and wrote Lion as #21 instead of #22. As for the end, I only checked the main credits. I'll go fix that now. Arcorann 11:54, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
