| + | Also, about the Hourai Elixir page on the Touhou Wiki, I think that the line in Chapter 1 in Cage in Lunatic Rungate should be a lot more relevant than speculations that the "Hourai Elixir is too powerful" for why it is forbidden in the lunar capital: "Those who use the Hourai Elixir take on the same taint as humans. I knew that even if Kaguya could return to the lunar capital, she couldn't live a normal life." As it is absolutely essential for the lunar capital to remain pure, the obvious conclusion can be made.
