First stanza

Anyone realize the line after "Akuryou taisan! Akuryou taisan!" in the first stanza is actually:

Onryou, monono-ke komatta toki wa, rather than

Onryou, monono kai komatta toki wa?

Who knows, but we can't go around changing 'all' the lyrics... Anyway, two letters don't matter that much... Rushy43 07:32, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Yes, we can go around changing 'all' the lyrics! Even though this is one of the most commonly used songs in the world of medleys! And two letters do matter that much! But @Putrid, do you have a source? Seritinajii 11:28, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
The hyphenation is up to someone else to figure out. I put it as monono-ke in mine, but as I see now, Anime Lyrics puts it as mononoke. I can write sources in romaji I find now, but for an explanation, the original lyric "monono-ke": ものの怪 uses the hiragana for the first half (ものの/物の) of 物の怪 (which is pronounced monono-ke). Also (if anyone here can read hiragana), the karaoke at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwtoHX9py9w for Ryuuseigun, or better yet http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm875006 for Let's Go! Onmyouji itself, uses the furigana け (ke) over the 怪. Also, as stated above, Anime Lyrics puts it as mononoke. --Putrid76 22:25, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
The character 怪 on its own, is pronounced kai, so I am thinking that's where the mistake came from. --Putrid76 22:25, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Just found this, too; if you type "Onmyouji Lyrics onryou monono kai" into Google, it will say "Showing results for Onmyouji Lyrics onryou mononoke." which, as you may know, it does for common misspellings, and such. --Putrid76 22:27, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
That's enough evidence for me. Let's start fixing everything. Arcorann 04:57, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Are we going with "mononoke" or "monono-ke"? Because I don't know which one to use. It might be "mono no ke". Since I've seen it mostly as "mononoke", I'm thinking we should go with that... --Putrid76 20:53, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
