AcFun
AcFun, established in 2007 and died in 2018, is a trailblazing Chinese video-sharing website known for its unique bullet comment system, inspired by the Japanese platform Niconico. Despite its challenges, AcFun remains a significant part of internet culture in China.
In some degree, it is the most tragic website in the world.

Mascots and Motto
The platform's mascots, AC-girl (AC娘) and TD-girl (TD娘), are beloved sisters who represent the spirit of AcFun. The administrators affectionately refer to themselves as "Monkeys" (猴子), while the users are endearingly called "Acers" (A站用户).
AcFun's official motto, "认真你就输啦 (・ω・)ノ- (゜- ゜)つロ" (Lose if taking seriously (・ω・)ノ- (゜- ゜)つロ), encapsulates the platform's playful and lighthearted approach to content consumption.
AcFun Website Medley Histroy
As a pioneer in the Danmaku video genre, AcFun has fostered a creative environment for otoMAD creators, similar to Niconico's early days. A notable milestone was the posting of Lolicon Medley, a cover of Ryuuseigun, on December 9th, 2008, which amazed the AcFun community and popularized medleys.
AcFun has a tradition of commemorating special days with original medleys. The first medley, AcFun Medley Black and Orange was posted on September 9th, 2011, to mark the day ⑨月⑨日.
About medleys
The AcFun Spring Festival Evening Gala is an annual event that showcases various performances, including medleys. These medleys are often rewritten with new lyrics and performed by famed singers within the AcFun community.
The first medley as one part of shows is AcFun Medley Red.
I'm so Happy Beep Association (Chinese: 我巨爽哔音社) as a MAD-makers' group, also composed medleys and sometimes may posted onto AcFun Spring Festival Evening Gala as a show.
