NNDMedleyWiki:Standards
Here are the tentative standards for listing tracks on this wiki. The eventual intent is to include policies on source listing and usage of romanised/translated titles.
Contents
General
- Where there exists a commonly used alternate title for a song, it should be listed in italics directly after the song title.
Example: |Doraemo~n! (The song that plays when Suneo is bragging to his friends) |Doraemon BGM
Touhou Project
Entries for songs from the Touhou Project series should have the Internal Link on the source, followed by the name of the version in parentheses and the BGM acronym. If the song is a remix, don´t put the name of the version that the original music came from, but the name of the remixer between parentheses with the following phrase: (arranged by _____).
EX 1: |Necrofantasia |Touhou Project (Perfect Cherry Blossom) BGM
EX 2: |Night of Knights |Touhou Project BGM (arranged by Beat Mario)
As of 2013-02-16 it has been proposed that all Touhou Project songs be listed under their romanised names, as translations have a tendency to be inaccurate or regularly changed. Under this proposal songs which have an appropriate translated name would be listed as an alternate name:
Example 1: |Otenba Koimusume (Tomboyish Girl in Love) |Touhou Project (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil) BGM
(It should be noted that the above song is currently listed as "Beloved Tomboyish Girl".)
Example 2: |Marisa wa Taihen na Mono wo Nusunde Ikimashita (Marisa Stole the Precious Thing) |Touhou Project BGM (arranged by IOSYS)
There is currently no scheduled deployment date for this proposal. Please discuss on the forums if you have any queries or issues.
