Hatsune Miku Birthday Festival 2012
August 31st, 2007.
Yamaha Corporation created a singing synthesizer application (with human personas), developed by Crypton Future Media, by the name of Hatsune Miku (初音ミク). It uses the Vocaloid 2 and Vocaloid 3 synthesizing technology. She was the second Vocaloid to be sold using the Vocaloid 2 engine and the first Japanese Vocaloid to use the Japanese version of the Vocaloid 2 engine with her voice sampled from Japanese voice actress, Saki Fujita.
To the benevolent songs "Tell Your World" and "Saihate", to the erotic and suggestive songs like "Kurumi☆Ponchio" and "Shooting Star Technica" and even with the birth of American meme song "Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! / Nyan Cat" - Hatsune Miku has been globally praised across the globe like GANGNAM STYLE and Touhou Project, with the always amazing fan art and games that she'd spawn ever since that day.
Over at Nico Nico Douga, they have Birthday Festivals for memes or actual people, such as the "Matsuoka Birthday Festival" (松岡誕生祭) and "Aniki Birthday Festival" (兄貴誕生祭). As the day Miku was born, users were prepping for their video to be posted at that time. Users would also watch the live streaming of the live "Hatsune Miku 5th Anniversary Live" concert at Yokohama Bay. Many videos were posted and spawned and the event has been engraved to be known by many users on Nico Nico.
For this occasion, this was one of these videos - a collaboration like Nekketsu! Honki Eiyuutan and Fourth Fairy Festival combined.
