VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
My laptop's speakers are potentially dead.
Just a little ago, I heard crackling sounds from my headphones. I tried to fix it, but eventually an extremely loud burst of static came from them, and then garbled and loud noise persisted in such a way that nothing could be heard.
After this, I tried unplugging the headphones, which didn't work. The most that did was transfer the loud noises from the headphones to the laptop itself.
I should mention that at this point, there is already no hope for the sound. Any attempts to play sound result in a garbled mess of ear-piercing noise.
So, I disabled the speakers completely via the Control Panel and it stopped. And when I re-enabled them it was quiet.
But it didn't work. Any sound playing still resulted in a mess, now finishing off with a buzz that remained until I disabled the speakers again.
This will, of course, halt nearly all medley-related work for an unknown amount of time. Maybe it'll be fixed in a day or two, maybe it could take months.
I am about to reboot my laptop. Maybe it will fix this, maybe it will not. All I know is that anything could happen. This could be the beginning of the end of my laptop, and I am unsure whether or not it will survive for an update here.
I am very sorry and will be working on this issue until it is fixed. I hope you all understand.

Update
Laptop's been refreshed.
What happened is now, when speakers are enabled, no sound comes out at all.
Another thing that should be noted is that while shutting the laptop down, I accidentally put it in sleep mode. However, it ended up shutting off completely instead, without warning.
When it was turned back on, it booted up like a cold boot, which seems to have been what happened.
I don't know if putting it on sleep will shut it off like that again. Maybe it will, maybe it won't.
This does not change previous can and can'ts.
For now, I'm going to sleep. Hopefully I can give an update on this again sometime tomorrow.

What I can't do right now
- Creating medley pages is near-impossible now if song names are not in the video. Even then, times could be wildly off.
- On that note, lyrics are off limits right now.
- Medley creation simply cannot be done.
- Assistance is possible, but only if I know the exact notes and rhythms.
- An original songs project I just started working on cannot be done.
What I can do right now
- Basic tracklists and infoboxes
- Certain song pages
- Communication
- Basic clean up (typos, fixes, other things of that size)
About Me
To be honest, there's nothing interesting I have to say about myself, other than I discovered medleys in 2008, the medley database, the wiki, and the forums in 2011, and that I made the account in 2014.
Also, I like fast-paced medleys.
