- The Octagon source is referenced several times:
- In the Gang-Plank Galleon part, Jack Black appears as Simon Belmont, referencing the Heart of Fire segment from The Glorious Octagon of Destiny.
- In that same segment, Billy Herrington appears as Bayonetta as a reference to Gachimuchi Medley 2017 ~10th Anniversary Kantachi no Kouseki ♂~.
- Jack and Elmo appear in a photo frame in the Pajama Party girl's bedroom in the Ringside segment.
- The logo of The Glorious Octagon of Destiny is among the brand logos in the top of the advertisement in the This Christmas part.
