About Me
I'm a relatively ordinary Canadian guy who likes Nico Nico Douga medleys. I will go as far as possible to get proper lyrics for songs, to the point where I may try and translate something myself (with help). I may also have a tendency to take on HUGE projects without really knowing what I'm getting myself into (see the other sections below). That's pretty much it. I'm here, I'm pumped, and I'm ready to go!!
I'm currently in grad school right now, so I won't be able to edit as often; however, I'll try and help out when I can.
Arranging Stuff
- My first medley, Nico Nico Douga e no Omaju: http://soundcloud.com/#berg8793/nico-nico-douga-medley
- Made an original songs version of Konton Jiyuusou by FLAG, using 1002 of the 1005 tracks in the medley: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/nico-nico-douga-konton
- Made an original songs version of Kakenukeru Medley Collaboration II (Part A) and (Part B)!
- Made an original songs version of Nico Nico Douga Starlight Festival by Tomo (Ginga-P)! Check it out here: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/starlight-festival
- Helped out Escope12 with creating Mash of Up (Disko Smash Extended Remix).
- Made an original songs version of Nico Nico 100 by Messzylinder: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/nico-nico-100
- My craziest, longest project to date: I made an original songs collaboration of Medley1764 with KANON!
- YouTube video: http://youtu.be/N3gaPfB5NXA
- Niconico video: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27078010
- SoundCloud playlist: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/sets/medley1764-original-songs-ver
- Made an original songs version of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards Medley by Full Ken: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/kirby-64-medley
- My second medley, Nico Nico Kasoku Medley, is currently in the works. I'm slowly moving the track list to this page, if you're interested.
- I was invited to join Kakenukeru Medley Collaboration IV, so I made an entry for it back in January. Since this medley should be released sometime in August, I've decided to put the track list for my entry on this page, so there's a little less work to do when getting the track list for this gigantic medley. You can hear it by itself here: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/kakenukeru-medley-collaboration-iv-entry

Stuff that I want to do
- I want to make the original songs version of Kakenukeru Medley Collaboration IV, especially since my original songs version of Kakenukeru Medley Collaboration III had to be cancelled due to life. Also, Winnna of Medley1764 fame is currently working on an EVEN CRAZIER medley right now. Once it's finished, I'd love to make the original songs version of that medley.
- There's a very good chance that I'd only be able to work on one of these medleys at a time - UNLESS someone else would be interested in helping me out with one or both of them...
- I had to cancel this previously, but after Kasoku is done, my next planned medley is a (much shorter!) DragonForce medley. If you have not heard of them, check them out. They are AMAZING.
Currently Working On...
- Making a nicer-sounding, up-to-date version of Sagyou ni Shuuchuu Shitemiro Medley, called Nico Nico Kasoku Medley. As of August 9th, 2016, the first version of the track list for Kasoku is completely set up! As of September 29th, 2016, mixing is 67.07% complete (0-178 BPM).
- If you're wondering what it sounds like, here's my track list spreadsheet, which includes all the links to the mixed sections that I've set up: http://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XxOF7ouL9N-jFIYSBLEoCdvBGhEVsYe-0tEYejERZeU/edit?usp=sharing
- Check out this forum link for more details: http://kumikyoku.rintaun.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=477
- Also, here's a playlist of sections of Nico Nico Kasoku Medley and mashups that are or will be included in Nico Nico Kasoku Medley: http://soundcloud.com/berg8793/sets/nico-nico-kasoku-medley
Stuff that I should get back to at some point in the future
- Creating all wanted song pages with more than 20 links.
- Creating things to go in the IDOLM@STER category, including medleys, some song pages, and a page describing the games like we have for Touhou and Kirby.
- Making new medley pages, with more focus on composer sections that have little to no medley pages created. Examples include Kiva, Wasabou and Himanattsu, among others.
- Cleaning up spam on the wiki! Spammers beware, 'cause I'm after you!
Notes when creating song pages
- This guy appears to have uploaded all the Touhou soundtracks on NND, and in high quality, too! In fact, a number of people have done this.
- Lyrics for iDOLM@STER songs can be found easily on project-imas.wiki; however, finding videos for M@STER versions of songs to match the lyrics will usually be a pain in the neck, due to copyright shenanigans.
